What’s Adsense CPC – CTR & RPM?
The CPC stands for Cost Per Click.
The CTR stands for Click Through Rate.
The RPM stands for Revenue Per Thousand Impressions.
Now when you know their simple meaning then you’ll have to understand some facts about them. So let’s proceed further.
The Adsense CPC is the price of the click which visitors do on your website when they visit your site and if they are interested, they do click the relevant ads, in return, Google adds some $$ into your Adsense account which might be between .01 cent to $20 per click. If we go more clearer then we can take an example of 100 visitors who visit your website and if 10 visitors out of 100 click the ads displaying on your website and you earned $10 from those 10 clicks, in that case your CPC is $1 which means you are earning very high and good amount with Adsense. But 0.30 in average is considered a good CPC rate for Adsense.
The CTR is the percentage of the visitors who click on the ads being displayed on your website, for example, 100 people visit your website and 10 out of 100 click the ads, in that case the Adsense CTR will be something like 10% which is very good. However, 5% CTR rate is considered a good CTR in Adsense.
The RPM is the calculation of how much have you earned from per thousands impressions with Google Adsense, for example if you have earned $10 dollars with 1000 page impressions, that’s mean you are going very good and your RPM must be something like 10 which is very high and very good in terms ofAdsense earning.
How to Increase Adsense CTR, CPC & RPM?
You can increase your Adsense CTR very easily by placing the ads on right locations on your website, for example you can use Google ads below post titles on single pages to boost your CTR, also you can add a BIG ad unit in the header and one in the footer to get more clicks on the ads. Also use different type of ads such as image & text, and never use Link Units they don’t get much clicks. Always use these sizes 300*250, 768*90, 468*60 and 300*600 which get more clicks & also these sizes are recommended by Google itself.
For increasing CPC & RPM, you simply need to drive more visitors from USA, Canada & other developed countries. Advertisers pay more for visitors coming from these countries.
